Kitchen Witchery Experience:
May 13-18, 2026
Step into the heart of Scotland’s wild majesty on a slow, soulful journey through ancient landscapes and timeless home remedies and traditions.
Together with guides Denise Stewart and Carmon Frick, we will weave myth, story and ceremony into building the basics of an apothecary, the wise woman way.
4 Nights, 5 Days
$3000 CAD - (£1600 UK). includes double occupancy in manor house, catered meals, welcome supper, entrance fees, apothecary, as well as ceremony and yoga.
Also included is transportation by luxury bus, from meet up point in Balloch, West Dunbartonshire, and drop off at Glasgow Airport, or, Grand Central Station.
Accommodation May 13 is not included, but the welcome supper is covered on that day.
Deposit of $500 CAD or £280 UK required to reserve spot. Balance is due two months prior to departure.

Meet-up Day-May 13, 2026
We will all meet up in the beautiful town of Balloch, gateway to the Highlands, situated on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. here we will enjoy our welcome supper together, followed by a wander down to the loch’s edge for our opening ceremony under the Scottish sky.
Accommodation in Balloch will be arranged individually, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that best suits your needs. There are several budget friendly hotels in the town, all within easy reach of our meeting point.
Day 1 - May 14, 2026
We all meet at Queen of the Loch (hotel in Balloch), and board our luxury bus to begin our adventure at 9:30 a.m..
On our journey towards our manor house, we will visit castle ruins, an organic herb farm, a wool mill. To stretch our legs, we will hike up to a majestic waterfall.
After we settle in to our beautiful home, we will walk to a local cafe that is privately catering our evening meal.
Day 2 - May 15, 2026
We start our day with gentle yoga (if you feel called) in full view of shimmering Loch Katrine.. After breakfast we will immerse ourselves in the art of herbal medicine: balms, salves and tinctures, to build the foundation of your personal apothecary.
After lunch, lovingly prepared by Amanda Robertson, there will be some free time to wander the grounds and connect to the land.
In the afternoon, we enter ceremony as we create a medicine woman’s tool of power. Through guided journeying and hands-on creation, you will begin to shape and assemble your rattle an object to carry your intentions and connections to the land and spirit.
Day 3-May 16, 2026
After breakfast, we head to the kitchen to explore the power of oxymels. Together, we will create a fire cider while delving into the energetic and nutritional qualities of its ingredients. Herbs and roots with a long history in folk medicine around the world.
After lunch, enjoy some free time to wander the grounds or rest. In the afternoon we return to ceremony as we complete our rattles.
Following the evening meal, we gather under the new moon to activate our tools and set our intentions, closing the day in ritual and reflection.
Day 4 - May 17, 2026
We begin our last full day with yoga and breakfast, followed by a sharing circle to reflect on our journey so far. Afterwards, those who feel called can join in a cold plunge challenge in the loch.
After lunch, we dedicate the afternoon to weaving together all we have created. We will prepare elixirs from our tinctures, draw salves and create herbal bundles to take home as a reminder of our time together.
After supper, we gather for the Medicine Woman Rites Ceremony, an initiation into the wisdom and tools we have cultivated.
We will end the evening gathered around the fire, weaving stories of myth and folklore from the beautiful land of Scotland.
Day 5 - May 18, 2026
We will gather for breakfast with time to roam the grounds and say final goodbyes before setting out on our last adventure together. There is a special mystery gift awaiting you, a little farewell surprise from our hearts to yours.
From there, we will board the bus and make our way towards the Highlands. Along the way, we will pause at some atmospheric castle ruins. We will then travel on to The Drovers Inn, Scotland’s most haunted pub. Our path then carries us to the charming village of Luss, on the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. This is where we will close our circle in a heartfelt gratitude ceremony.
With spirits full and hearts connected, we make our way to Glasgow to our drop-off point at Central Station for your onward journey.
